I'm here for a second - won't be too long. Then back to the free world - where I belong. I was thinking one day - my time might be better, if at mail call - I was to get a letter. It would help the time pass - and make my days fly by. Who knows, you may like it - so give it a try. A couple minutes of your time - introduce your self, and drop me a line. Hello, my name is Glenn. My friends call me "Redman". I'm from a small town here in Texas. I'm halfway through a five year sentence and am looking to make some new friends. If you would like to send a nurturing note to one of the prisoners on any of our blogs, leave a comment and we will forward it to the prisoner. Give your address if you would like him or her to respond to you.
For those who wish to write a prisoner directly, we offer email support and a forwarding service for those who want to use our address for return.
Remember: prisoners so not have internet or email.
FFUP is a prisoner support group, non profit, dedicated to the concept that we are all brothers and sisters and once we lock a person up, we are responsible for his or her treatment. In these blogs and webs we seek to counteract the hysteria about criminals and discuss the root causes of crime while presenting the human face of prisons. /
Our main blog is www.prisonforum.org /
FFUP works as advocate for prisoners and their families, has special concern and projects on segregation issues and is committed to the release of ready to be parole old law prisoners. /
